My name is Szymon and I'm the creator of this application.
I made it for the past me. When I got into one of the best high schools in Poland, coming from a small village, I had to learn english fast. In reality I needed to learn how to study foreign languages.
I passed the matura exam with a 90% score, even though in first grade I could barely speak english. I had to develop a method that would lead to me achieving predictable and great results in a relatively short time.
In university I started learning the basics of french. When we went on our honeymoon to France I noticed that I lacked vocabulary and my grammar knowledge was insufficient – I mainly heard Quoi? (what?). This made me think.
Later, completely on my own, I learned Spanish using the Internet and books. When I went to Spain I could comfortably talk about basic subjects since day one. This was proof for me that I had finally found an effective way of learning languages.
Español con LaMa is the fruit of these three adventures - I made courses that would be ideal for a young adult who doesn't have the funds for a dedicated teacher, but wants to grasp a language at a communicative level.
Small reminder: the app is made to require short, regular interactions, once day or a few times a day for the best results. Every lesson is designed to take fewer than 3 minutes. Remember – no app will teach you a language perfectly.
